SC Electrics Constant Wattage electric heating cable is designed to deliver a fixed amount of power output per unit length, regardless of ambient temperature. These cables are widely used for freeze protection, temperature maintenance, and process heating in both commercial and industrial applications.
Available is 6.6 Watts/Mtr to 66 Watts/Mtr.

Key Features :
- Consistent Power Output: Delivers the same wattage throughout its length, making it ideal where uniform heat is required.
- Parallel Heating Circuit: The heating cable consists of a series of short, independent heating zones connected in parallel between two bus wires. If one zone fails, others continue to operate.
- Fixed Length Cut: Unlike self-regulating cables, constant wattage cables must be cut only at specific marked points to maintain circuit integrity.
- Robust Construction: Typically includes:
- Two insulated parallel conductors
- Nichrome heating element wrapped in a helical fashion
- Dielectric insulation
- Metallic braid for grounding
- Outer protective jacket (PVC, fluoropolymer, etc.)
